The People’s House: Exhibition

Presented by the Dallas Asian American Historical Society at the Museum of Asian Texans and curated by Veronica (TYC) Pamindanan, Jackie Law, and Pooja Gopi from the Dallas Asian American Art Collective
The People’s House is a community art and history exhibition that reimagines Dallas City Hall as a living archive of memory, power, protest, and possibility.
Inspired by the monumental vision of I. M. Pei, participating artists explore the many lives of this iconic civic landmark.
Featured art and media will be interwoven with historical photographs, community stories, and rarely seen archival materials.
At a moment when the future of Dallas City Hall is in jeopardy, The People’s House asks us to view the structure as an unfinished work, continually shaped by the artists, activists, public servants, and residents who pass through its doors or plaza.
