Dallas Asian American Historical Society

Researching, preserving, and amplifying the legacy of Asian Americans in Dallas

Voices of SMU

Voices of SMU is a collaboration between Southern Methodist University students, alumni, and entities across campus to diversify the University Archives’ holdings.

Undergraduate Research Assistants conduct oral history interviews with SMU alumni from underrepresented groups. The interviews document not only the history of the university, but Texas as well.

Voices of SMU has collected oral history interviews from several East and South Asian American students and alumni, which are available to view online in the SMU Libraries Digital Collections.
