Who We Are
Some of us are local. Some of us are transplants. Many of us share the common experience of being “the only one” wherever we are. And, many of us have been searching for a community where our unique experiences as Women of Asian descent are commonly shared and understood among others, especially through a social justice lens. No matter where we came from, we are here now. And we are committed to creating the space that too often does not exist for us.
Women of Asian Descent Dallas was founded in 2021 by Amy Tran-Calhoun.
