Calling all student artists! The Dallas Asian American Historical Society is looking for high school students interested in using their artistic skills for the upcoming exhibit, “Leftover: the Enduring Legacy of Chinese Cuisine in Dallas.”
Extra points if you can do any of the following:
- Paint
- Sculpt (airclay)
- Traditional Chinese paper-cutting
- Collage (using paper, photos, mixed media)
The internship session will last approximately from May 29 – June 10, 2023. The session will take place at Southern Methodist University (Expressway Tower) 6116 N Central Expy #140, Dallas, TX 75206. We will work around the collective interns’ schedules to determine the best times for work sessions. Interns will receive community service hours, provided meals, merch, and artist credit in the exhibit.
